Front Uni Universal Joint - TOYO / KOYO Japan - Nissan Patrol GQ GU This universal joint is located in the front propeller shaft (driveshaft), which connects your vehicle's transfer case to the front differential. It is a critical driveline component that allows the driveshaft to articulate with the suspension's movement while transferring power to the front wheels. The cups on the end measure 28mm. Does not suit the Front shaft on GQ RB30 & RD28 models. Over time, the needle roller bearings inside the factory universal joint can wear out due to high mileage, lack of lubrication, or contamination from water and dirt. This wear can lead to driveline vibrations, clunking noises when engaging gears, or a rotational squeaking sound.
